BASTET THE CAT GODDESS

Okay this one was way too much fun to do. I absolutely love the fun of the LO and think that TerrellS is amazing. Those 3D papers do most of the work for you. It leaves just the fun bits to do. I enjoyed exploring some new techniques in this one too. The box that the cat is sitting on is a new one for me. And I used the watercolour filter which is also something that I always steered away from but spending the time made all of the difference. Great tool for hiding someones Identity. I'll have to remember that one for future reference.

Hope you all like it and enjoy the rest of the day!

Hugs

NAN & POP WITH AMELIA

I Just love this pic of Nan and Pop with Amelia. It was a shame we couldn't have been home at the same time and catch up with her. But I had to scrap this pic. Just a lovely Photo and they are both looking up and at the camera too!

Naomi & Matt

I just did this LO with TerrellS Egyptian Nirvana Kit of Naomi and Matt on a camel Trek. I think their pics are awsome and couldn't wait to scrap them when I got the Egyptian Nirvana Kit. I have to find myself some siamese Cats to scrap. That would be cool too!!!

What do you think. I love the elements and the colours are so vibrant and so well ....Egyptian.
Wait till you see the other ones. I have so many ideas in my head. I'm pretty sure I'm dreaming about LO's I want to do. Am I sad or what. But I just LOVE to digiscrap. It's awsome. I'm even thinking of doing some real crafting from my LO. Printing onto media like for gifts etc. We'll see. I think you may be hearing a lot more from me in the coming months.
I'm having so much fun with this...
Have a fabulously decadent day!!!

Sunday, May 6, 2007

Well I just couldn't go to bed before posting this LO I did for My Mum for Mother's Day. She really does mean the world to me and I do miss her dreadfully. So Mum if you're reading this I Love You very much and I hope you like this LO I did of us for you!

Hey there Everyone - WE'RE BACK

Well we had a great trip away TOGETHER! And now it's back to work for Michael.
When we got home I got asked to be on the Creative Team for TerrellS, a designer from America who designs digital Scrapbooking Kits. You can see the Blinkie at the top on the right!

I am so honoured to be using her kits as she is so talented and the elements and papers she creates are truly amazing. As a member of her CT I only have to create a LO per week with one of the kits. I have already done some lovely ones and am going to share them with you here since you are the people I Scrap.

Okay we all know this is Chris. A photo he took of himself, they are the only ones he seems to smile in. But did you know that this is the night he was promoted and got his new rank slides for Warrant Officer and his hat badge. His Grandad would be so proud of him. His aim when he joined was to get to Warrant Officer!
this was created with TerrellS Da Blues Kit!

Some nice action shots of Gabriella. So I scrapped them together. Came out well I think.
This kit is TerrellS Da Blues Kit, too.

Ok this one is just one I used some of wyvern wench's flower elements to bring out this picf of me and Hubby at Erin and Phil's wedding. Anita Spaberg's photo corner & Erika Tenney's background paper.

Okay Me and Thomas at Port Arthur Historic Site, the penetentiary. Lovely Day.
This one was done with the Da Blues Kit by TerrellS, they are so adaptable!

Okay this one I did for a challenge for National Scrapbooking Day, which is an american celebration day for Scrappers, Paper and Digi alike!
I did this for a challenge where you had to express the colours you like most and include a picture of yourself, hence yours truly in the centre there. I chose colours I love seeing together. I just liked the way it turned out. I spent a long time doing it.

Okay well that's all for now. I'm going to try and scrap some of Chris's Warrant Officer's course soon too, so that will be interesting!!

Stay tuned!!

Okay I know I never blog enough!! We are both well and looking forward to Michael's Holidays Woo Hoo!! And The Dogs go off on theirs soon too. I have done some Scrapbook Pages. Surprise Surprise. The one above had to have a movie quote in it. This one is obviously Romeo and Juliet.

Okay this one should tell you what Chris is up to lately. He got a job as an IT Trainee with the Department of Education. So Proud!! And He's loving every minute!! When they are on holidays he goes into the headquarters and does office admin stuff. So that's a bonus multiskilling!!
Just a pretty one I did of us with a cutout of my bouquet.
One of my absolute favourites of the wedding pics. Michael and Pop after the ceremony and just before we had our picture taken with Nan and Pop. That's Michael's Name Place Card from the wedding after I scanned it. Turned out quite well I think.

Hope you are all well and enjoying the fresh breaths of Autumn. Hugs.

The Latest News

Sorry for not blogging for a while. Just a lot's been going on. Firstly we have endured our 6th IVF Cycle. We managed to get a lot of eggs. 12. Out of that 12, seven fertilised and we thought yippee finally we'll have some to freeze. However when they checked them the day the freeze was to be done, none of the leftovers were 4 cells and they require them to reach 4 cells to freeze. So that was upsetting. But we did have a beautiful 4 cell and a 3 cell transferred and on the 15th if all goes well we will have our pregnancy test.
Other news is that M has applied to Tas for a job so hopefully that will go our way!!!
There is a new slideshow at the bottom of the blog with more new Scrapbook LO's if anyone is interested. I have done 30 in the last 2 months!!
Hope all of you are well and can't wait to see everyone when we are home in April.
Have a great Day!
