I survived!!

My Darling Husband down the Huon Valley on our Anniversary 09

Yes I survived 6 whole days without touching a computer or seeing anything online. We didn't have time to miss it really. With catching up with friends and Christopher, then when Michael's parents came home we were busy catching up with them. So it was a busy whirlwind visit and we are sort of glad to be home and back in our comfort zone as is usually the case with visits. It was pretty cold down in Tassie too, 2 degrees last night and thank god for my MIL Ila and her hot water bottles LOL.

I will post a few pics for you all, Christopher scored a job with an IT department of a water company till the end of June so he was working most of the time we were there, we only caught up with him on Anzac Day and Sunday when we went to the markets and last night when he and his girlfriend Jess came over for dinner. Well for a more indepth blow by blow description you'll have to check out TAZ's blog for his timtable LOL.

Christopher really needed a haircut so there are before and after pics of him. Plus some of my friends I went and visited. Not many of us together though as there was nobody around on our Anniversary to take a pic. We spent the day driving down the Huon Valley and had dinner that night at the pub down the road with a few quiet drinks back home at Michael's parents place. We had their house for the first three days to ourselves till they came home from their caravanning trip on the Sunday.
Michael, Me, John and Ila, just before we came home.

Okay gotta go, I am getting a migraine!!! rushing about too much trying to get stuff done I guess.

Have a great day!!

Something Huge is coming to SAS in May!!!

I can finally tell you all that something big is happening in May at SAS, next month there is going to be an 'Extreme SAS Makeover' competition, how cool is that. Every Member will have the opportunity to design the new look of SAS. They'll be some great prizes for the winners and some awesome downloads from the SAS Designers for everyone so clear your schedule for May now and get ready for a month long funfest.

A Layout and a Speed Scrap Chat announcement!!

Well yesterday I took our terrier Shona for a beauty treatment. she got the works at the local beauty salon for dogs, and look at the difference. She is looking younger with all that grey cut off.
She's off to stay at the kennel next week so I thought it would make it easier for all concerned if she had a trim and her nails trimmed up too. So I am now thinkin will she be too cold LOL.
Not looking too shabby for a 14 year old is she!?
Also check this out on Saturday, gotta love a speed scrap chat at OSS

check it out at 8 PM EST in the chat room at http://www.onesingleseed.com/

I have a posting bonus for those who complete a layout.
Also for those trying to get the lilypond Welcome/Thankyou gift at SAS please be patient, there is so much traffic that it has slowed the site a little.
Have a great day and I'll pop back later with some more news

Happy Easter!!

Very Quiet one for us, Michael is working and I am working LOL. What's new I hear you say, nothing but he is goin on holidays shortly and will be hell to live with. You see he doesn't do Holidays well. He gets bored and what else can you expect from a work-a-holic. Should be interesting actually, we are going to Tassie to see Christopher and are Staying at his parents' place, but they will be away so I can see us getting really bored together. I am not taking my laptop cause we got cheap cabin baggage only fares LOL. I wonder if we will have killed eachother by the end of that week.
No we should be okay, hopefully everyone we want to visit will be home and we can go do a driving tour or something if they aren't. We're sleeping on a sofa bed so I'm not too sure how much quality sleep we'll get. sigh
Now enough of that onto business LOL.
A new kit. This is called Just Jo. Jo is one of my Greatest real life friends, you know what I mean she's not an online friend. We used to work together, she was my Boss!!! And my bridesmaid too. Whenever I get a text message it is usually Just Jo checking in on us. So that's where the name came from. It's a pretty kit with rich papers and elements. Plus an alpha. It has 18 papers and 38 elements.
Here's a preview and a layout, some close ups too. It's going to be in all stores by tomorrow night but it's already up at SAS and it'll be 40% off till 22nd April.

Check out the links in the margin at the top of the page for my store links.

Now last year around this time we went for a romantic night in the Blue Mountains northwest of sydney in an 1800's bath house, huge mansion of a Hotel with wonderful architecture and furnishings. you might remember the layouts and photos I posted if you were reading my blog last year. Anyway we got the whole restaurant to ourselves because we went on a Wednesday in cold weather so it wasn't very busy and it is quite expensive but let me tell you it was soo worth it. We had everything we could, even port after dinner in front of the open fireplace in the lobby. Just like in a chick flick LOL. So this is the dessert we ordered and shared between us, way too rich to eat all of it on our own on top of the luscious dinner we had.

It's our anniversary on 24th April so we will be in Tassie for it this year. 5 years already.

Okay that's it for now, gotta go get this kit up and do some other stuff.
Have a wonderful Easter Weekend.
