HEY I know you'll love it, what a great idea and a fabulous way to get new ideas for layouts and get em done fast. SFS and OSS are both holding these, OSS has one today in 3 1/2 hours from now, so come have some fun in the chat room and get a layout done at the same time. I am haveing one on Monday at 8 Eastern Daylight-Savings Time (Tuesday 11am for you Aussies)
It will be my first but I can see me doing a lot more of these in the future LOL. Today's Speed Scrap is with One Single Seed Designer "Mandak".

It's all happening over at Scrappinfreestyle's party with lots of games, scraplift challenges every day this week and a scavenger hunt plus the sales including the grab bag sales that are just a steal by the way. A Preview and a freebie to taste

Well the CS4 is here YAY!!! And I have put it to good use with a new kit, I am uploading to my stores now. I have been super busy and even did some paper scrapping, well hybrid really. I scrapped my digi layouts into a bound book. So there's a pic or two of that too. It's my first so go easy on me LOL.

My Hubby is...

the best Husband in the whole wide world!!!

He's got me photoshop CS4. I am just over the moon!! It will be here sometime in the next two business days, so that's monday hopefully. I have taken over His computer with a free trial version of it and so I flit from his computer to mine all day doing designing and emailing and transferring of files, It's been driving me to distraction and I know I am not the best person to live with when something goes wrong for me. I was so peeved at adobe for not helping out with the cs2 issue but this copy is boxed and delivered to your door. It's not a download like the other one was so it should be completely legit, wanna be for how much it costs!!!

Thank you my darling Sweetness. I love you so much for never denying me anything.

Update on the photoshop issue

I am looking at paying $1485 for a boxed copy of cs4 here in Sydney at Harris Technology. It's the only one that I can use for designing legally. All the student versions say "Not for commercial use" kinda makes me wonder about all the designers I know use the student edition. But I have learnt my lesson and won't buy anything unless I know it is the real deal. And Harris Technology are an official reseller of Adobe so I think I'll stick with them.

Till then I have my trial version which is playing up a bit but hey I'll take what I can get at the moment.

Going to be starting on a new kit today now that I have finished the last challenge at amandadykan's site. don't see me winning anything but it really stretched my design legs LOL.

Okay off to see what I come up with today.

Crying now!!

Well Adobe said my copy of photoshop cs2 wasn't legitimate, in other words they reckon it was an illegal copy. Well they didn't mind us paying through the nose for it and they didn't say anything when I registered it and activated it. So what's the deal. Any way they said they can't help me and my photoshop is stuffed basically. So I have to buy another copy, which I can't cause they don't sell cs2 anymore. I will have to wait until I can get cs4 (In another 10,000 years LOL) I costs over $1000 Australian and we just don't have that. I have downloaded the trial version for cs4 and am using that for now but I don't know what I'll do when the 30 days is up, sigh!!!

You'll love this, I did a speedscrap chat last week and it was soooo much fun. You do a layout in an hour and have an hour to upload it. Every 10 minutes the hostess will tell you what you need to do next. It's great fun and a real laugh too. Come along to this one and you'll be hooked!!

I am working on a collaboration at the moment with Lisa West and it's gonna be a doozy so keep your eyes peeled for that coming soon!!

Pardon My French but...Oh Crap!!!

I lost my pscs2. I decided to reset the computer cause it was way too full on the cdrive and I forgot to deactivate photoshop so now it won't activate on the rebooted system, I am so sad!!!
I hope when I call adobe tomorrow they can help. Lucky I have pspx too!!!

I just have to say...

I had some awesome customer service from Amanda Rockwell this week and I have been meaning to blog about it all week but I have kept getting sidetracked. Amanda has some super awesome designer tools as well as a Club "Inside the Scrapartist Studios" Where you can learn to design and get some awesome downloads exclusive to the club. As part of the sign up you get a coupon and for some reason I had trouble with mine. Amanda was right on it straight away and even racked me in a fashion. Now how is that for super customer service, you're an angel Amanda!!! I am loving my purchases and the club. It's so much fun and so eductional too, making me, hopefully, a better designer.

How about a HUGE Kit

I didn't realise just how big this kit was getting till I packaged it all up and started uploading it. OMG it's 312MB. It is massive. Faith Hope and Charity is it's name and it consists of 31 elements, 21 papers, A full Alpha (Upper, Lower, Numbers and symbols) and 2 Quickpages.
And guess What I am going to give you the quickpages for free. They will also be uploaded with the kit into the store so that those who buy the kit but don't visit my blog will still get them, free with the kit.

But I am getting better scores each week so I must be learning something and improving my designing skills.

Well we have had Michael's Best Mate up for a few days and we did some stuff. I took him down to Bowral to the Don Bradman Museum and we got these shots.
