Well we got 11 eggs, out of that 8 were injected, out of the eight only 3 fertilised. So we will have them put in tomorrow and wait and see!!

There is a heap going on over at TTS this weekend. Its superbowl weekend in the US and what better to do when the fellas are in front of the football than chat and attend an online crop and check out the sales. Now onto something that nearly drove me insane this week. When we got home from the hospital after my egg retrieval operation, I went to do something on my computer and my external hard drive wasn't working. It was a western digital 500mg (That would be GB darlin', mg is a measure of weight, AmboHusband) (yeah alright GB, what are you doing editing my posts!!!) elements with a power ac adapter for power. Well the cord died and they apparantly don't make them anymore so I went searching on the web only to find nothing. Eventually came across a whole group of consumers with the same problem and they were rehouseing the hard drive into a new case. So that's what I did and yay I have it back. Now I am copying everything onto a DVD tonight!! I am so slack but I don't ever want to feel like that again.

Good News and Bad

Well the good news is we got 11 eggs out of the 16 follicles and of those 11 eight were good enough to use so in the morning the lab will ring and tell us how many (if any) fertilised, then we can decide how many to have transferred into my womb on Saturday. So it's looking okay on the IVF front so far.

The Bad News. When we got home from the hospital I went to check out some stuff on my computer and discovered the external hard drive's light wasn't on. Oh well the plug must be a bit out. No the whole power cord is fried!!! Argh!!! So mad and mostly at myself, but most of my stuff was on it and now there are things I need for the next few weeks on the sites I host challenges etc at and I can't access them. They sent the cord of to be repaired LOL what a joke, like they are going to repair a cord. They'll just send me a new one. Problem is it will take them up to 5 WEEKS to do it. Not good enough and so we will try and hunt a cord down while we wait.

What's Going On? and another freebie

Well it's all happening here. What a busy time. Next Thursday is my Mum's 60th Birthday, and I wish I could go up to Brissie and see her, I was actually going to go up and surprise her, but SURPRISE!! I can't. We have our egg retrieval on Wednesday and the transfer on Friday so I am stuck. To make it worse I am stuffed full of follicles (which is great!!) but I am so uncomfortable and can't sleep. Good for you guys though cause it means I do more designing and freebies for you. Soo I sent her some gorgeous flowers and a card and will catch up with her later. And Christopher, my little boy, is turning 21 on 15th February. We've had a tough few months with him losing his job and having trouble finding a new one as well as trying to get out of the house he is in. Just can't afford it!! But things are looking up there. So we are going to go down and see him after his birthday. Trying to fit it in so we can both go down. Not an easy feat with a work-a-holic like Mike!! LOL. Plus I have another 60th party on 7th February. Geesh, what a busy time.
I got my new banner from Lisa Kane and it's rockin'!!! Don't you love what she's done with it!!
It's been high 30's here temperature wise and very hard to sleep, besides feeling like a beached whale and waking up soaked in sweat, Yuck!! Hopefully we'll get a southerly change later today to cool it down a little.

To those of you who get email notification of my blog updates, I am so sorry for the one that came out yesterday saying I was away in Queensland. I have no idea why Blogger decided to send that one out when I posted it way back in November. Must be gremlins in the machine somewhere. But at least it didn't post it on the blog LOL

I got my hair cut yesterday, oh and treated and coloured and got some foil highlights too, to disguise the grey when it comes back. My grey isn't really grey it is more WHITE!! It cost me a bomb but I am really happy with it and can still manage to put it up if I want to when I am bikeriding with Michael!! Thanks to Ali, the young 21 year old Hairdresser who did it for me. He made it such a fun experience too, which is saying something for me and hairdressing appointments. LOL
And Yes he did notice when he got home last night. A bit hard not to, it is quite a lot shorter and cut into a style, which I usually don't really bother with but thought I was looking very old and haggard ( I did, not Michael LOL)
Okay I'll try and get a decent photo and update my avatars everywhere and here on the blog.

So remember the other day when I said it would be a nice day to go for a bike ride, guess what. We rode all the way to Sydney Olympic Park. It was 50km OMG!! round trip that is. But here's the best part. Tracy fell off her bike AGAIN!!! And I wasn't even moving. I was waiting in a bike traffic island for a car to go and they told me to go so when I went to take off the pedal of my bike caught on the curbing and off I fell. Grazed all up my forearm on the curbing and ahhh it hurt. But after a rest of 5 minutes and a total whine at Michael I got on my bike and kept going. I also got sunburnt even though I had lathered myself in sunscreen before we left. Oh well, them's the breaks.
So have you had any trouble getting into treasures to scrap? They were trying to change to a new server and had troubles with it so now we are back to the original server with better service. So you can catch up over there now. All online again. And we're having a posting war. Check out this thread to find out the details.

Well things are pretty quiet here, Michael is on his second day of four off, unless he gets a call for overtime so he's still sleeping.

I downloaded a demo version of artrage to see if I can get that real painted look in some of my designs so I'll be playing with that a lot today. It also looks wonderful weather wise outside so when someone wakes we might go for a bike ride. Lord knows I am not getting enough exercise and have put on 3 of the kgs that I lost so best to get on top of that now that Christmas is over and there'll be summer days to have salads and lighter foods.

I have my Journalling Challenge up at SAS and it is getting a great reception so if you are interested check it out Here. There are some wonderful layouts that I recommend reading too!! The posting bonus this month is titled Penguins in Love and is pretty darn cute. So you could get a whole flock of penguins if you did all the challenges over at SAS.
