did for a challenge at Stone Accents Studio, It had to
go with the quote so I did My Hubby!!!
Who else feels like they are playing when they are at
work besides Taz!!!

 
Okay that's it for me, off to bed as we have a big
Night out tomorrow night, off to see the Stage show of
Priscilla Queen of the Desert, so have to get plenty of
exercise etc so I can eat the dinner we end up getting.

3.6 KG Lost!!! Woohoo!!

Yes what a start to my Weight Loss Journey, I've dropped 3.6 kg, that's nearly 8 pounds for eveyone in the imperial world!!! I am amazed as It was not that hard. just have to keep it up I guess!! So we have our first visit with our new IVF doctor today and I will feel better being able to tell her I lost some weight this week!! Cause I just know the first thing out of her mouth will be "Tracy you need to lose a lot of weight!" as in their booklet it says you can't start if you are over 20% overweight! Sigh!!! Oh well I've made a start anyhow, just have to keep making good healthy choices, right!!?
Okay off to do some housework argh!!!
I got all my QP 4 X 6's done for TerrellS so that's good, one thing achieved yesterday anyway!!

Okay So I've been Lazy!!!

You know how it is, I have had an inspiration drought
these last few days and Michael has been off and home
so I tend to feel a little guilty if I spend every minute
on the computer when he's home LOL. Mind you a lot of
the time he is studying too, so there ya go!!! Even!!

Well If you want a freebie run over to TerrellS blog and
grab a QP or two, she has posted 8 so far so better be
quick LOL.

Alright well I am going okay with the Weight Watchers so
far, actually I am finding it quite easy but then I haven't
had to go out to eat or supress my Chocoholic fantasies of
late LOL. So the big test will probably come when I am in
Melbourne, I know that I will not have to worry when i am
at my Mum's as she is always eating healthy so it should be
smooth sailing there and she walks almost every day too, so
I will actually have company LOL. No, Michael doesn't come
along with me on my walks LOL. I was a bit peeved today as
I got a little not from the PO letting me know we had a package
there and so I decided I would walk so I did. It's the right
distance for my walk so that will be my walk out of the way for
the day LOL. Little did I know until I got there that they are the
only PO in the whole of Sydney that isn't open on Saturday
morning. GRRR. Anyway so I didn't have to worry about the walk
being broken. LOL.
So that's that, I am hoping for a great loss on Monday when I
weigh Myself. I have a good feeling LOL.
And I don't know if it is just in my mind but I feel like I've lost
weight LOL.

Guess What!!!
 
I made the big decision and took the plunge.
 
I AM NOW A WEIGHT WATCHER LOL!!
 

I started yesterday so now I am having to log my intake and exercise,

yeah I am exercising LOL.  I know that I have to lose a heap of weight

for the IVF to work so I am doing WW online.

We'll see how I go LOL. I did it years ago and lost about 12 kgs. But

this time I have a lot more than that to lose. Wish me luck LOL.

Hello, from email land


Yeah I am emailing this one in, now that I have discovered that I can compose my posts this way woohoo, so much easier, I think, we'll see.

Okay onto the Layouts for today

This is one of the freebies from TerrellS blog from days gone by, so you would have to search for it on her blog, but isn't it pretty, it is a Wedding Mini kit, I just love the papers and those ribbons are so cute.
The photo is one where we weren't posing and I finally started to feel how cold I was, I am cuddling up to Michael because I am freezing. I didn't feel it until after all the I do's were said, I guess my adrenaline rush had subsided by then LOL.

Okay so I did another Layout with TerrellS Summer Whispers Kit and I am really pleased with this one. It is a Layout of Jo (One of My Bridesmaids) I just loved the dresses they had for the wedding and the colour, this photo of her is just great and they are walking along in the light misty rain at the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens where we were married and had our photos, it was just a shame about the weather and the light wasn't all that great by the time we got to go take them.

So as for the rest of my week, we had Michael's former flat mate Hayley come and stay for the night with her Mum as they were flying out to Japan this morning, Lucky Ducks. Michael missed out as he was working nightshift and hopefully will be able to catch up with them during the hour they will have between flights on their way home LOL. That's if they get through customs with any time to spare.

Hayley is an ambo too and works in country NSW.

So I did my Housework the day before they were coming and it just rained all day today so now the house if covered in drying washing. But gotta appreciate the rain. We really needed it, and it wasn't just light so that's great!!!

And I went out the other night so there won't be much going on until after I get back from my Melbourne/Hobart trip for my birthday.

Oh but we are off the the new IVF clinic on 27th so lots of tests etc and they say you can't start unless you are under 20% overweight so I think I'll fail that test so not much will happen until I drop some of this extra baggage LOL. No but seriously I sit on my butt too much and need to get out and move more, maybe I'll look into Curves as I've had 3 great reports from friends now so I am taking that as a sign. Or maybe get a bike as there is a track nearby. We'll see, Procrastinating again LOL.

Alright I'm gonna go cause it's after 3 in the morning and I am gong to end up having to sleep the day away with Michael tomorrow if I don't go to bed now, and I really have to go do some commenting on the websites first.

Hi there every one, Sorry I.ve not posted for several days LOL. I have been very busy creating and Have lots of wonderful News for you all.

The other big News is that TerrellS has put up some new Freebies on her Blog and they are QP created by Beachnut and Myself as part of her Creative Team, so that's why we have been so busy and that's why I have been MIA lately from my Blog LOL. N but seriously it's just that I have been lazy with my blogging LOL!!! Well you know me!!

Michael and I have had a quiet few weeks, he has been working and when he's home he is studying and doing assignments for his Uni course. We went to a farewell for one of his fellow ambo's last night and I accidentally managed to see him being an Ambulance officer for real, it was even the first time I have ever been in an ambulance LOL, while it was moving with the Woo Woo lights and sirens, scarey!!! It wasn't anything real gorey but it was great to see him in action!!! He just made me an even prouder wife, if that's possible!! I was just in awe at how he handled the patient and kept her dignity intact and explained everything that he was doing, I have an awesome Hubby!!!
I also got to meet his current partner Scott, who is a great guy and very down to earth and geniune!!

Love Ya Doreen

I met Doreen aka Beachnut999 through DSC when I first started getting serious about learning to Digiscrap, we were in a class learning on PSE5 together and got to know eachother through that class and the Challenges and just commenting on eachother's Layouts. There were no chats at DSC so we were just drawn to eachother I guess. Then when TerrellS asked us both to join her CT we really became close, the three of us are very close, as close as anyone who has never actually clapped eyes on eachother can be, I feel like I have two sisters across the Pacific and we catch up all over the web. I am so inspired by Doreen and I really wanted to thank her for all the wonderful support she has offered to me and given in a miriad of ways, I just love her to bits, and here is the Layout I did for My Buddy Beachnut!!

TAKE A DEEP BREATH

Okay, are you ready? Cause this is going to be a long post LOL!! I have been extra busy and have a lot of Layouts to share with you. So make sure you have a coffee ready to sit and spend 5 minutes at least reading this, LOL. Okay let's start with the Tease Factor over at Terrell's Blog, yes she is teasing everyone with a BIG SECRET, and the announcement is still coming soon, so we are all dying of curiosity, and can't wait to hear it because the longer we are teased with it the bigger it is becoming, in my mind at least LOL. So Hopefully after the weekend we might get some relief. Speaking of relief, if you have any cool weather, please blow it over to TN so that poor Doreen can have some relief from the swealtering heat they are suffering at the moment. I have been doing lots of LO's and trying to get organised before September, I am off to Melbourne for a girly weekend and then onto Hobart to visit with Mum and Chris for 3 weeks, so I need to get organised LOL.
Well Michael had his 45th Birthday yesterday and didn't have as exciting a night shift as he expected he would. He had a Chocolate Mud Cake at home with me, most of which is still there, and I sent one to work with him so they could all celebrate, which he really isn't into but I think his workmates are becoming accustomed to me sending treats to work for them LOL. Like his little School buddies. Well I got him a TAZ Candle that speaks so he loved that, he had a huge smile on his face LOL. I sent that to work with him too LOL. I got him a careflight teddy in scrubs for his ambulance and a huge dictionary for study, now that he is a Uni student too!!!
Alrighty then onto the Layouts, this one I had a lot of trouble with the photo, the Layout is of Michael receiving his Certificate for Paramedic Level 1, officially a fully fledged Ambo. But the auditorium was very dim and the photos turned out very dark, frankly anything inside seems to come out dark on our camera, wondering if it is time for a new one with better zoom. Anyway, this kit is by ScrapCarli at seasidescraps and called, patchwork, lots of stitching and bulldog clips and girly stuff but it seemed to work quite well here , I just used a lot of the red and blue being that it is an ambo Layout!!

Now you can see what I mean by girly, this is the same kit used to scrap Gabriella, I was quite pleased with how this one came out, she was mucking around in Mum's bedroom and there were quite a few pics taken, these were in a series of about 6 photos. She's growing up so fast...

I Love these photos of Ila and Claire, she went up to visit with Leanne Scott and the girls and went to Visit with Michael's cousing Dani and her family, Claire was still very new then, as you can see it was a bit tiring LOL. No but seriously I think it was just so very hot and humid that after a day out Ila was just pooped and had a lay down. This Kit is so cute!!

okay you didnt think you'd get away without there being some wedding ones did you LOL. This kit is Tuscany by Punky's Pixels of seasidescraps, And the pic is of Christine, Michael's Aunt, she is actually putting his dad's button hole on Michael as he forgot his, with all the things that need doing on the day everyone accept Michael's parents forgot to wear theirs, Thank god we girls had our bouquets, I'm pretty sure everyone would have notice that if we had forgotten them!!!

This is one of Ila's pics of Michael's Sister Leanne and her family taken last year. The kit is Summer Daze by Shannon Fahrnbach. Love the icecreams in this and it is such a fun kit!!!

A fun pic of Gabriella at an airport, Hmm judging from the beanie I'd say it's Hobart Airport LOL. And the kit is, Summer Treasures Berry, by Cheryl Whitesel. Cute kit!! If only she had been drinking strawberry milk LOL.

Here is TerrellS Heritage freebie kit from the go digital competition. Gabriella is at the show having a play on the clowns and counting up her score to see if she gets a prize, god love her!!!

These are such fun photos of Chris and My Mum at our wedding. He danced the bridal waltz with his Gran and then later got down I just love the photos so much. My Mum was so beautiful on our wedding day, I just love the outfit she wore!! The kit is by TerrellS and is called Summer Whispers, it was from round 1 at godigital.

I appologise if I am doubling up on any LO's too, not sure if I posted this one before, this I did for a challenge where you had to use at least 7 pics without making it look too cluttered. The kit is Sharon's Jammies by Rebecca Myers. I love this kit too!!! The photos are the series of pics taken with Nan and Pop Thomson!

My Little boy after the ceremony. Christopher came with us to have pictures taken, he was holding the umbrella to keep us dry too. Such great pics that I had to scrap them and the Roses for Mom kit By TerrellS was just perfect for it!!

Here's some of the girls from the band who were guests at our wedding, this pic is at the Botanical Gardens and the girl on the left is Melissa and her boyfriend (now her Hubby) took a lot of great pic at the wedding including this one, which you can probably tell from the look on her head. I used a lot of pieces from TerrellS kits for this, she does such grea kits and they all coordinate so well too!!

This one is a LO I did for a friend Sharon, these are her boys volunteering at an animal shelter in the States, great pics of them playing and caring for the animals, the LO above is of Brian and the cats! The Kit is Tommy by Saskia Bokkers at seasidescraps.

The dog in the layout is Maverick and he was the boys' favourite dog at the shelter, he was adopted by a loving family!Look at him he is loving the attention!!

Here is Sharon's Daughter Chelsea's 17th birthday at Cee Cee's (a pizza place in the US) I did a 2 page LO for it using Accoutrements and Girly Denim by TerrellS, I just love these kits of Terrell's, she's so talented!!!

And What do you know, her birthday is the same date as mine LOL, that was freaky! LOL!!

Happy Birthday ME!!!!!!!!!

Yes that's right, the ol' fella has ticked another year over. I'm officially on the downhill run to 90 now!

I beat Tracy out of bed this morning and made her a cuppa before returning to bed myself for some pre-sleep, I have night shift tonight. It's been a warm day, it's Friday and I'm working right in middle of Australia's biggest city how much fun do you think I'll be having tonight????
You bet ya' HEAPS.



Oh and to the other materialistic stuff, sounds boring but Tracy got me a dictionary. I need one for my Uni courses, some chocolate and an 'ER' Girl Teddy Bear, another soft toy to carry around with my Taz Devil.



So spare a thought for the poor devils out on the tiles tonight here in Sydney who may get 'TAZ the AMBO' tending to their poor intoxicated selves and having the time of his life on his Forty Fifth ({[45]}) Birthday ' Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha continuing demonic like laugh fading away in the distance with the sounds of sirens,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
